The auto club is driving me--
and, we're going back to slim's gym--
Once a vicious cycle building who married eats and drinks
let a blue bird plane him down with the buzzing of the Lord
Highly enthusiastic I am now
mostly with my auto club growing old
as everything new springing forth out of life
is the run of the mill being ripped and skinnied,
slimmed and trimmed like a cedar board
lightly and surreptitiously, a sanding by the finger of God
in Spirits of the old mill stream--smoker clouds
Fire and water milling a plank
while the drumming saws take it to sated but elated souls
They turn me over like an engine with a crank
and I can prove I am starting
when my hungry old fat man burns the buffet,
goes and tells the ham and burger kings
that slim like Jim still grows on him
Yeh, the auto club is driving--
and, we're going to slim's gym--
Again, a vicious cycle building who married ate and drank
lets a blue bird plane him down with the buzzing of the Lord..

The Sky Blew Up, #15
Red lips, cute nose, just right for wee bearMy hair flaxen golden should never grow old
in the virgin time warp of bear Eden's chair
Bear Venus too hot and Mars bear is too cold
But, once upon a time while whistling a song,
a bright Boa beside me his tattoo the Tree
Oh, could I have sensed that his motive was wrong?
While he strummed Oh, Suzanna the banjo was me
Oh, he'll hire my husband - Oh, he loves my name,
my Goldilocks flowing the way it does fall
His words are like gods Ronald Reagan's the same
are not the word written in rock on this wall
The bowl about clean, well, so sweet the porridge!
I crashed with the Boa like a star in a loft
Yikes! Gather my clothes! God the bears in the forest!
(The radio blaring Tebow and Newt
with a brain like a blender to top it all off)
Then I ran out the back and up the sky blue..
O, baby, the moral is I ought to stay
away from the Boa man he is too strong
The bears in the forest are moving today
with the sky blew up, I am moving along
A taste of sweet porridge and singing my songs...

Attention!
Two single-shots are loaded, liquor rusting on your lap
So where'd you get blast holes through the sole of your boot strap?
Death emits a mystery stench like searing cordite scars
I see you wanna rise up now, so stand right where you are!
Old man, while losing lots of blood a fresh supply is drawn,
cleansing to you onward flowing reddish streaks of dawn
Wounds your carnal weapons from this conversation on
One nearby great physician has a gentle shepherd staff
He powers the icy darkness swirling arms of Alderaan
Release the single-shots, Sir, let's blow off Golden Pond,
the loons, and offspring angry at their Father all day long
Could either of us miss it when we're gone?
Could either of us miss it when we're gone?

I turned my other cheek, one day a pilgrim slapped my face
He's rejecting love, but I accept him in your place
My other cheek already broken all because of you
movin' down a lonely road among the chosen few
We do our homage secretly, the left hand from the right
are separate in our pockets empty faded from the light
And you are preachin' like the wind in many of our tongues
You know what we've been thinkin' 'fore it exits from our lungs
I met you in the Spring time when the wars had just begun
You arrayed in ancient when the two of us were young
Stinging bullets flyin' over head, their bombs still scare
Militias, hawks, and doves at work to rule us from the air
Now demon drones move faster
Who the hell knows who or where they are?
God is dead, they're hoping at the Kansas City Star
But, who then is this in us on the ground, dude, Uncle Sam?
Ask it, knock, and seek but at the gate of the I am
unless you are ashamed to occupy a flock of lambs(?)
Yeh, he was on the ground where I was diggin' out a hole
Asked if I could rest a spell, still speakin' to my soul
The dirt is sittin' there right where I put it in the piles
The Spirit blowin' dust away along our second miles..

My face too turns pale from trouble within
I see the fourth beast swallow again
People devoured - Worlds are sucked in
Kings overpower not one man of sin
At this time the darkness ready to be
Times in an instant with nowhere to flee
And half a time by this authority
Forever advances from eternity
So true a few believe not of their mind
The language the words of which angel defines
For linear moments on down the line
The Ancient of Days delivers in time

Disasters
The boys still listening to Daddy read
Old stories with rhymes and tall tales
Cuddled together warmly and freed
No shifting winds in their sails
The twenty first century real estate man
Left a yellow right angle sign in the yard
And Mother, packing possessions too tight,
Crying for words much too hard
The dog and the cats had gone to the vet,
None transferred to the City,
It was tough to say so long to the pets,
To part ways with the Mom and her kitties
Folks at the bank who close the accounts,
Noting another lost exported job,
Figure out slowly the tension that mounts
Simply said "bye" to Betty and Bob
The money was tight when the earthquake came
And touched what sustained them with fire
Bob and the family were never the same
Indebtedness never was higher
If and when their quaint dwelling could sell --
Loss and expenses extracted from taxes--
Cash on one hand could pay the motels
On the other the one way voyage to Kansas...
Their relatives East were loading their car
The swollen Missouri had swallowed their dairy
Betty, Bob, boys in an old Aerostar
Rolled past them out on the prairie

The Crack of Dawn, #61
Another chance to turn a phrase
Ignite sweet sun light dying days!
Morning art on darkness drawn
through blue night moon's surrealest songs
Another day by grace to live
To rise again - The crack of dawn
Please, another shot, but to state the case
why no religion of the human race
ever ceases suffering on and on
Death pangs increase where life belongs
But, here's our day to live by grace
All rise again - The crack of dawn
Another year could wake us up
Another day death interrupt
The fragile strength of faith so strong
no power on Earth now proves it wrong
Another day to live by grace?
All rise again - The crack of dawn!
Another day beams on my face
Another time, another place
No turning back - A little taste
Some summer days - No time to waste
I like Ike's tomorrow gone
All rise again - The crack of dawn
